At least two people were killed and two others injured in two separate acts of terrorism across Khyber Agency on Tuesday. Officials said unidentified militants attacked a NATO container in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency. The militants first targeted a container loaded with supplies for NATO troops with an improvised explosive device (IED). The IED explosion was followed by firing by the militants. The officials said a person was killed and another was injured in the attack. Separately, an IED blast in Bazar Zakhakhel in Landikotal killed one man and injured another. Soon after the incidents, security forces launched a search operation in the areas to apprehend the criminals.
