Security arrangements tightened in Peshawar: politicians advised to confine movement

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has asked the political leaders to restrict their activities during Moharram-ul-Haram, after the attack on former Ameer Jammat-e-Islami Qazi Hussain Ahmed.
The home department of provincial government also directed IG Police to provide more security to the political leaders hailed from different parties . The government has also instructed administration of FATA to tighten the security measures in their jurisdiction to avoid any untoward incident.
It is pertinent to mention here that Qazi Hussain Ahmed was in the limits of Mahmond Agency when his motorcade was attacked, but he was narrow escaped luckily in life attempt by the terrorists three days earlier.
Security arrangements have been tightened in provincial capital Peshawar to arrest suicide bombers.
According to the details, extra police force has been deployed on entrance and exit points of Peshawar city after the arrest of suicide bomber on Tuesday.
Security of imambargahs has also been strengthened and sniffer dogs have also been hired to keep check on sensitive places.
