Newly appointed US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani here at the General Headquarters on Tuesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief welcomed Richard Olson on assumption of duties as ambassador in Pakistan.
The visiting dignitary remained with General Kayani for some time and discussed matter of mutual interest.
