Saudi govt intends to cooperate for development of university: President IIUI

The Govt of Saudi Arabia intends to provide every possible cooperation for the development of International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), for which the philanthropists from Saudi Arabia are interested to visits the university.
This was said by Dr. Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI while addressing to the meeting of Investment Committee of the university.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh said that the funds of the university may be invested in construction of such buildings which can provide permanent source of income for the university and to strengthen its financial position. He said that he will personally see to the owners of various banks to ensure the interest free investments of all the university funds.
Dr. Al-Draiweesh assured that we have to create good relationships with international universities to exchange knowledge and research to achieve benefit from each other experiences.
He added that university is the place of training for the students and it should be free from the curse of political, regional and sectarian issues.
Prof. Dr. Sahibzada Sajid ur Rehman, Vice President IIUI, Fida Muhammad Khan, Justice of Federal Shariat Court, Dr. Mati Ullah, Director National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), Dr. Abdul Qadir and Khurshid Alam, Director Finance, IIUI attended the meeting.

  1. For God sake do not accept any money from Saudi Arabia. Their money comes with extremism and ultimately results in funding and production of foot soldiers for banned outfits. We have suffered enough because of them.
    We must say NO to Saudi -Iran war on Pakistani turf.

  2. There is till lot needed to be done by the students and hopefully for the future would even help them to regard about all those possible concerns as considered to be so essential.
