Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said that children are the future of the nation and his party will improve the facilities for children in order to groom them and turn them into an asset for the country.
In a message on the Universal Children’s Day, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistani government, in line with the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, has launched a vigorous campaign under the leadership of Aseefa Bhutto Zardari to eradicate.
PPP Chairman also said his party is committed to provide education to each and every child and the government has therefore passed a legislation under which every child, regardless of his or her gender, nationality and race, shall have the right to free and compulsory education.
He said PPP is aware of the lack of healthcare facilities for children, especially in the rural areas of the country, and has therefore devolved the responsibility to provincial and district levels in order to bring drastic improvement at the local level.
He pledged that being the largest political party of Pakistan, PPP will continue its struggle to provide the nation with a safe, healthy, peaceful and egalitarian society in the 21st century so that today’s children may feel proud for their past generation.
