PML-N President Nawaz Sharif termed the suicide attack on Qazi Hussain Ahmed’s convoy as highly regrettable and condemnable. Talking to media at the residence of Ata-ul-Haq Qasmi on Monday, he said, the attack could hamper the election process. He was of the opinion that instead of imposing a ban on pillion riding and mobile phones, miscreants should be brought to book. He called for taking immediate measures to nab troublemakers. Sharif vehemently condemned the killing of innocent Palestinians during air strikes by Israeli planes and urged the government to register its protest at international forums against the barbaric acts of Israel. The PML-N President also expressed his concern over the killing of Rehmatullah Abid, reporter of a private channel, in Panjgoor.
