IPSI members discuss ways to improve Pak-India relations

Beaconhouse National University (BNU) and India Pakistan Retired Soldiers Initiative for Peace (IPSI) jointly hosted a seminar on Indo-Pak relations on Monday.
Former vice chief of Indian Army and President of IPSI India Lt. General (r) Moti Dar along with his spouse and a delegation comprising Brig. (r) and Mrs JL Kaul, IPSI India Secretary General Maj. General (r.) and Mrs Raj Chadha, Maj. General. (r) and Mrs HC Sharma, Col. (r) and Mrs Prabhakar, Sq Leader (r) and Mrs. Chhina, Col. (r) AR Khan and Col (r) Gautam Das participated in the seminar.
IPSI is a recognised NGO for establishing peace on both sides of the border and comprises retired army officers of India and Pakistan.
IPSI was initiated by Dr Nirmala Deshpande, a true Gandhian who had the honour of being a life-time member of the Indian Parliament on account of her services for humanity.
Speakers in the seminar were of the view that lack of communication was the main factor which was causing failure in advancing relations. A large number of students and faculty including BNU Vice Chancellor Sartaj Aziz, Dr Mehdi Hassan, Dr Tariq Rehman, Zaeem Yaqoob Khan and Mustafa Shah attended the seminar.
