7 outlaws arrested, liquor and weapons seized

Islamabad Police have arrested seven outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered a total of 3,450 bottles of wine, hashish, and three pistols from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.
On a tip off, Shehzad Town station house officer (SHO), Inspector Fiaz Ahmad Ranjha conducted raid at Shakrial with a police team and arrested a bootlegger who was loading wine into a Mazda mini truck. Police also recovered 3,250 wine bottles from their possession and impounded the mini truck and a car numbered H-2598. Meanwhile, sub inspector (SI) Muhammad Ali of Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Police conducted raid in G-7/2 along with a police team and arrested Arslan while confiscating 200 wine bottles from him.
SI Abdul Sattar from Margalla Police Station recovered one 30 bore pistol from an accused Muhammad Afzaal. Similarly, SI Nusrat Ali of Golra Police Station recovered a 30 bore pistol from Waqar during patrolling, while assistant sub inspector (ASI), Umar Hayat from Nilore Police Station arrested two culprits Gul Khan and Abdul Rauf and recovered a 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from their possession.
In a separate raid, SI Muhammad Arshad recovered 200 grams of hashish from an accused Gulfraz.
