A bus conductor died on Monday when a Karachi-bound bus was targeted in the outskirts of Quetta city.
Police said unknown armed men in Quetta’s Sariyab Road fired shots at a passenger coach parked outside a private transport service bureau.
There were over 30 passengers in the bus, who fortunately remained safe in the attack, officials said, adding that the bus conductor sustained multiple bullet injuries. He was rushed to civil hospital in critical state where he was pronounced dead.
The bus was ready to leave for Karachi from restive capital of Balochistan province.
Miscreants frequently target Hazar community people and police parties at Sariyab road.
