PIA office catches fire

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) office on Edgerton Road caught fire on Sunday due to short circuiting of electricity wires. According to details, the third floor of the PIA office building caught fire and engulfed most of the office area. Luckily, no loss of life was reported in the incident as the building was empty due to the weekly holiday.
Office of the PIA chairman, along with three other offices had been completely destroyed in the inferno, while goods worth millions of rupees were reduced to ashes. After the incident rescue teams reached the spot and managed to bring the fire under control after a half an hour struggle.
