Chairman OGRA, Saeed Ahmad Khan has presented report with regard to CNG prices in Supreme Court (SC).
As per OGRA report, price of CNG has been recommended Rs 74.16 per kilogram in Region-1 and Rs 64.72 in Region-2.
Earlier talking to media men, chairman OGRA said OGRA disagrees with forensic audit report with reference to CNG. According to audit report, CNG price should be fixed Rs 83 per kilogram while as per OGRA, it should be determined at the rate of Rs 74 per kilogram, he added.
He was of the view auditors have determined the price after carrying out audit of accounts of 10 CNG stations while they should have audited accounts of 10 percent of total CNG stations. This way 350 CNG stations are required to be audited, he added.
