No significant progress could be made following Abbas Town remote-controlled blast which claimed two lives. So far, no case of the bombing has been lodged.
The CCTV cameras could not record the video because there was no hard-disk in them. No major headway could be achieved owing to the lack of vital evidences.
Two men Azhar Hasan and Rizwan lost their lives in the blast at Imambargah located on Abul Hassan Ispahani Road in Karachi on Sunday evening. At least 22 people including five Rangers personnel were injured. The blast harmed six shops and a vehicle and shattered windowpanes of several houses.

The investigation agencies could not trace out the chassis number of the motorbike. Police, with the help of number-plate, tracked down the owner; however, his motorbike was parked at his residence.
According to police sources, three to four kilogram explosives were used in the bombing with ball-bearings, nut bolts and nails employed in the bomb.
The deceased Azhar Hasan was sitting outside his residence. And the other deceased Rizwan hailed from Multan.
