Kim Kardashian apologises for Israel, Palestine comments

Kim Kardashian has issued an apology after posting tweets regarding the recent unrest between Israel and Palestine.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star sent out two tweets on Friday (November 16) calling for peace between the two nations, WENN reports. She wrote: “Praying for everyone in Israel,” and then later added, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!” Kardashian then deleted the tweets after several of her followers sent replies complaining about her comments. “I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers,” Kardashian said in her apology. “I decided to take down the tweets because I realised that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologise. “I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. “The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution.
“I also pray for all the other people around the world who are caught in similar crossfires.” Kardashian faced criticism from fans on Twitter earlier in the week when a clerk from an ice cream shop in London called her out in a tweet for failing to pay for her order.
