Five persons including a journalist were shot dead in Dera Bugti and Panjghoor by unidentified militants on Sunday.
According to details, a group of armed men killed four persons in Sui area in Dera Bugti and fled from the scene.
In Panjghoor, unknown motorcyclists gunned down Dunya News reporter Rematullah Abid Sunday evening.
Federal Information Minister Qama Zaman Kaira and other political leaders have condemned the killing of Rehmatullah Abid.
Representatives of journalists’ organizations and notable media men have expressed grave concern over rising incidents of violence against journalists. They urged the government of Pakistan to take solid steps for the protection of media persons.
They pointed out thatPakistan has become the most risky country for the journalists, especially for those working in the restive areas.
Chief Minister Balochistan, Aslam Raisani taking notice of the incident has ordered investigation.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik has ordered immediate arrest of the killers of the journalist.
