FIA has decided to seek arrest warrants of former establishment secretary Ismail Qureshi.
According to FIA sources, Ismail Qureshi had made appointment of Zain Sukhera, friend of Abdul Qadir Gilani against the rules and regulations. FIA team has collected all evidence related to this process.
The evidence reflected that Ismail Qureshi was working on contract basis and he made appointment of Zain Sukhaira despite the fact that it was in his knowledge that Sukhaira was facing a corruption case in Anti Corruption court.
Sources said Ismail Qureshi misused his powers and remained involved in this case of appointment deliberately. However court has issued orders for not arresting the former establishment secretary, therefore, investigation process is not moving ahead.
Sources said that investigation team has collected all the evidence in this case against Ismail Qureshi which will be presented in Supreme Court on next hearing. FIA team will request the apex court to order for bringing Ismail Qureshi into the custody of FIA in order to ascertain facts on what grounds he had appointed Sukhaira in foreign country.
Brother of zafar Querishi….NICL fame, has to face this…..but time will prove that he was pressured to send summary of sukhera's appointment to ex PM….
