Intermediate and Secondary Education Board Rawalpindi has announced to grant Hijri scholarship for those students who have passed matric examination.
As per spokesman of the board, the total number of scholarships stood at 42 and among them, as many as 35 scholarships had been allocated for the children of teachers, five for Hafiz-e-Quran and two for special children.
Students who had secured 60 percent marks or above were entitled to Hijri scholarship and no restriction of marks percentage had been imposed for the special children, the spokesman added.
