Provincial Minister for Law Rana Sanaullah said that the politics of Pervaiz Elahi revolved around the sole agenda of loot and plunder of national resources. He said that Elahi made Punjab a graveyard of fake and failed development schemes by sitting in the lap of a dictator. He alleged that the greed for power and money is a common drive for the Chaudharys’ and Zardari and that was why they were in alliance.
Sanaullah claimed that Elahi had done nothing for Punjab, yet he was comparing his performance with the present government despite facing defeat in previous elections which he said was the height of hypocrisy. Sanaullah further said that Elahi would be held accountable for his black deeds in the upcoming elections as the masses were anxious to bury his sick mentality. He said Elahi committed robbery in Punjab Bank during his tenure and the NICL scam also came to light during his era. He said that dozens of dacoits were on the payroll of Elahi & co. through the Punjab exchequer during his five years of rule, which had beaten all previous records of corruption.
