Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Wednesday that the youth would play a vital role in ushering winds of change in the country.
Addressing the PTI’s Youth Convention, Qureshi said the young men and women who had volunteered and worked day and night to organise the event would be the real agents of change who would reject traditional politics.
He said that the obsolete and corrupt political system would end through new political reformation. He said that while PTI might lack experience, Imran Khan’s credibility more than made up for that. He said that PTI was neither the product of electoral rigging, nor would it ever allow that to take place. He praised the enthusiasm of the youth at the conference and said that if this zeal remained as strong, PTI would expect a 60 to 70 percent voter turnout and sweep the next general elections.
He said that even though no transport or media coverage had been arranged for the convention on November 4, people used their own resources and social media to turn it into a great success.
Qureshi said that PTI would not stop at this and their next Youth Conventions would be held in KPK, South Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan. He addressed the youth of Balochistan and acknowledged their hardships and committed to redress their issues once in power. He said that Khan would address a rally in Mirpur AJK today (Thursday) and uphold national interest without compromising on principles. Qureshi praised the efforts of the youth and told them to keep up their good work. He said that Khan had announced a 25 percent quota for them in the Parliament and it was up to them to prove their abilities.
Qureshi distributed certificates among volunteers while young students chanted slogans and expressed solidarity with PTI.

  1. HaHaHa.. what a joke Mr. Qureshi.. You are in a Party of Jokers so what more can we expect from you ?
Our youth can change the country's fate ? Oh Yes.. by killing each other in the name of religions, street crimes, bank robberies… we are already changing the fate and face of Pakistan..
    You don't know yet ?

  2. Mr. Quershi, your are a late convert to PTI but any way welcome. Your leader says that first thing when your party comes to power would be to break down the walls of the Govternor,s house. What a goal? How about getting rid of bullet proof cars and vvip cars etc on the roads. I beleive you had a bullet proof car or similar protection as a foreign minister. Would you have left PPP if you were not replaced.?

  3. 40 million new young voters will cast their votes for the first time. They will certainly hold the key to the future of Pakistan and get rid of the old and pathetic mafias! theses used forces are now crubmbling, youth will take back their country from corrupt thugs!

Governer houses are only burdon on Pakistan for one man residence! Their walls should be broken down, made public places, whats wrong with that goal? All mega elitist places like this should be turned into public space for parks and universities!
