The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday reserved the decision in a plea to dismiss the case against Rimsha Masih, a Christian child accused of blasphemy. IHC Chief Justice Iqbal Hamid Khan heard the plea for dismissal of the case against Rimsha. The counsel for Rimsha argued that the allegations against the accused were baseless and prayed for the dismissal of the FIR against her. The prosecutor maintained that the medical report of the accused was false and the Interior Ministry had tried to weaken the case. After the completion of the arguments, the court reserved its judgment.
