The law enforcing and secret agencies succeeded in arresting five militants, involved in attack on Kamra Air Base, from Mohmand Agency. Highly placed tribal sources told Pakistan Today that all five militants were arrested on pointation of their accomplices who were arrested during the attack on the base on August 16 2012. However, so far no official statement has been issued in this respect. Sources said the five militants arrested from Mohmand Agency belong to Afghanistan and are considered high profile militants. The exact identity of the arrested militants could not be ascertained as yet but it was revealed that they were involved in high profile acts of terrorism in both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Sources further said that the Kamra attack was planned in North Waziristan and had input from Obaidullah, who was amongst the 384 prisoners who escaped from Central Jail Bannu on April 15 2012.
