Looks like his dreams didn’t come true. Professional photographer Emerito Pujol was arrested after allegedly pretending to be a federal officer in an attempt to get into Disney World’s Epcot Center for free, the Orlando Sentinel reports. Police say the 74-year-old showed an Epcot staff member a fake badge while walking through the turnstiles around noon on Saturday. The employee asked to take a closer look at the badge, and Pujol allegedly told him he was an undercover officer searching for someone. A security officer got involved, Pujol changed his tune, according to WESH. He told the officer he was in the midst “guarding someone important,” according to the arrest report. When a deputy was called to the scene, Pujol allegedly admitted that he was just trying to avoid paying the $94.79 cost of getting into Epcot. The badge he had initially produced stated that the carrier was an “honorary member” of the American Federation of Police. The AFP is a nonprofit organization. The man is facing a felony charge of impersonating a law enforcement officer.
