At least five more people including a policeman were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence in Karachi on Tuesday.
Despite the claims of action by the law enforcement agencies, incidents of target killing and violence continued in Karachi. The biggest slum area Orangi Town has become a target of miscreants. Two persons were killed and another was injured in Aligarh Bazaar area of Orangi Town. The victims were identified as Bashir and Gul. Gul was a pushcart vendor. Another person Shahid suffered bullet wounds and was rushed to hospital.
Panic gripped the area after the incident while shops and other businesses were closed..
In another firing incident, excise police constable Jamal Raza was shot dead in Mominabad while another man was killed in Mominabad area of the same locality
A man was also killed in another firing incident that occurred in Korangi sector 48-B.
The funeral prayer of Muhammad Irfan, an activist of a religious party, was offered in Nagan Chorangi on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, fingerprints of an attacker of Rangers Headquarters were preserved and were sent to NADRA Office for further details.
More than 40 people have been killed over the past two days.
