Rangers raided various areas of the city, carrying out stringent operation following the worsening law and order situation prevailing within the metropolis. Police and Rangers have arrested almost 30 individuals including a target killer in a targeted operation carried out within the city on Tuesday.
Rangers Targeted operation included areas of Bilal Colony, Shamsi Colony, Model Colony, Gulshan Maymar, Awami Colony, Liaquatabad, Punjabi Club and P&D Colony. Besides the arrests, Rangers have also recovered heavy amount of ammunition during their operation.
According to reports, 16 varying types of arms and ammunition have been confiscated within the targeted operation.
Rangers officials have identified the alleged target killer as Shameem-ur-Rehman, who according to the law enforcement authorities belongs to a banned outfit carrying out terrorist activities within the city.
