Unidentified armed men on Tuesday attempted to kill a man who sustained injuries in firing incident in Moosa colony area on Saryab road here. The firing incident created panic in the area.
According to police sources, unknown gunmen opened fire at a man named Gul Muhammad injuring him on the spot. The assailants managed to flee from the scene after the incident.
Rescue team reached the spot and shifted the injured to hospital for treatment. The injured condition was stable in the hospital, doctors said.
Police registered the case against unknown accused and started investigation in this regard.
