Moderate to shallow patches of fog were reported from various cities in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and on GT Road and motorway on Tuesday.
The motorway authorities said there was moderate fog on the expressway at Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Faisalabad. Thin fog was also reported on various areas alongside GT Road, and Multan, Jhang and Hafizabad.
The fog developed in Lahore early in the morning as drivers faced problems due to low visibility.
The Meteorological Office expected mainly dry weather over most parts of the country in the next few days, with fog in the morning in Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore, Sahiwal and Multan divisions.
