Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology organised a seminar to tribute Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal.
SSUET Chancellor Engr Z.A. Nizami was the chief guest on the occasion and said in his address that Iqbal was a great poet, thinker and philosopher who devoted his poetry for the renaissance of Islam and rallied masses for a separate homeland for the muslims of the subcontinent. He said that Iqbal’s first book ‘Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam’ was intended to secure a vision of the spirit of Islam and he encouraged Muslims to embrace ideals of brotherhood, justice and service.
