Unidentified armed men gunned down a shopkeeper in Quetta’s Satellite Town on Sunday. According to police, the victim was identified as Manzoor. They said Manzoor was present in his paint shop when the assailants riding a motorbike arrived and opened fire on him The shop owner was killed on the spot. Police reached the site and shifted the body to Civil Hospital, where the victim was handed over to the heirs after legal formalities. Meanwhile, a man was killed and another injured by unknown armed dacoits in Barkhan district. Levies force said that unidentified armed robbers forced into the house of Bahar Khan and opened fire on two brothers when they resisted the dacoity bid. As a result, Muhammad Ramzan was killed on the spot while his brother, Nizamuddin, sustained wounds. Separately in Khuzdar district, two people were injured in firing by unidentified men. Police said three people, including Shafqat, Irshad and Masood, were on way home on their motorbike when the assailants opened fire on them and fled. As a result, two of them sustained injuries and were shifted to nearby hospital for medical aid. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
