Saudi govt to further improve haj facilities

The Saudi Arabia government has planned to improve their existing services and facilities for the pilgrimages. Talking to newsmen here, Fawad Amin Katib, a leading Saudi based hujj service provider to hujjaj from South Asia, said the Saudi government has planned a train service between Medina and Makkah, which is likely to begin in 2014. Mr Katib is on visit to different cities of Pakistan. He said a train service between Medina and Arafat was already functioning which has significantly reduced the travelling time of pilgrimages. He said no major untoward incident occurred during or after the pilgrimages this year except few minor traffic accidents. Amin Katib praised Pakistani pilgrimages for their cooperative attitude. He mentioned that his company was making the best efforts to provide better services to pilgrimages in future.
