Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman said on Sunday that the war against terrorism in Afghanistan had engulfed Pakistan, Dawn News reported. The JUI-F chief further stated that the sitiuation in Balochistan and Karachi was critical, where bodies were falling everywhere. Speaking in Islamabad at the last session on the first day of a two day International Islamic Conference, the JUI-F chairman said the leaders of Muslim countries did not properly reflect the views of the Muslim population worldwide. He further said these leaders had adopted the war on terrorism as their own, whereas the masses viewed it as America’s war. After the rule of the British, the people had now been told to serve the United States, he said. Speaking on the Balochistan scenario, Rehman said there had been a failure to solve the situation in the province.
