15 suspects arrested in Karachi during Rangers operation

At least fifteen suspected terrorists including members of a banned outfit have been arrested and weapons were recovered from their possession in Rangers operations across Karachi after a wave of violence engulfed the metropolis.
At least fourteen people have lost their lives in different incidents of violence since Sunday, while the only surviving eye witness Haider Ali, in the Wali Babar murder case was also among those gunned down in Karachi by unknown armed men.
Two people were killed in the early hours of Monday in the Orangi Town and Manghopir areas of Karachi.
Meanwhile incidents of violence claimed at least twenty lives including the life of a police officer and one regional office bearer of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat on Saturday.
IG police Fayyaz Leghari says the police and Rangers are working hard to maintain law and order in the city.
He directed the police officials to take stringent measures to stop sectarian target killings. At the same time he said that 4th schedule list persons be directed to report at police stations on daily basis.
