President Milli Yekjehti Council Qazi Hussain Ahmad has said that unity of Muslim Ummah is not only need of the hour but also is a divine order.
A one day Ittehad-e-Ummat Conference organized by Milli Yekjehti Council was held in Islamabad Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion‚ President of the Council Qazi Hussain Ahmad said Islam is today being targeted the world over on pretext of freedom of expression through making blasphemous films and caricatures. He said we will have to demonstrate oneness to check this trend.
The Council’s Secretary General Hafiz Hussain Ahmad said the organization has been revived and reorganized with the view to creating sectarian harmony in the country.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Chairman Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman‚ Qazi Hussain Naqvi‚ Qari Muhammad Hanif Jalandhari‚ and Maulana Allah Wasaya.
