Sindh Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon on Thursday said that creating disturbance in the port city was a planned conspiracy to destabilise the economy of the country. In a statement, Sharjeel said external hands and anti-state elements are involved in ruining the law and order. He said the law enforcement agencies especially, Police and Rangers are working day and night to eliminate terrorism that is the reason the terrorists are targeting the forces officials and personnel. He said the defense exhibition IDEAS-2012 is also being organized in Karachi. He stated participants belonging to over 80 countries are attending the IDEAS-2012, which portrays a positive image of the country particularly, of Karachi to the world. The anti-state elements do not want progress and development of the country and are destroying the peaceful atmosphere of the city, he added.
