Progress in defense production aimed at maintaining peace: CJCSC

General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) said we are a peace loving nation and our progress in defence production is aimed at maintaining peace.
According to ISPR, he expressed these views while talking to the visiting dignitaries on the second day of IDEAS-2012
The dignitaries Gen Sher Mohammad Karimi, CGS, Afghan National Army, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan , Rear Admiral LV Sukhanov, Deputy Chief of Main Naval Headquarters, Russia , Brigadier General Djibo Tahirou, Secretary General of Ministry of Defence, Niger, Lieutenant General Mohammad Elhassan Abdalla Ahmed, Chairman of MIC, Sudan Major General Omer Zainulabdeen, Assistant Director General Military Industry Cooperation for Development of Security & Defence, Sudan, Lieutenant General Kennedy Tlali Kamoli, Chief of Defence Forces, Lesotho, Major General Yun Tong Hyon, Deputy Minister, North Korea, Brigadier General Qaseem Fadeel Al Nahar, Comd Royal Jordanian Naval Forces, Jordan, Brigadier General Mofareh Al Tarawneh, Deputy Managing Director Engineer, Jordan and Lieutenant General Mohammad Awad bin Sohaim, Commander RSADF called on CJCSC .
The delegates appreciated the well organized exhibition and congratulated the Chairman JCSC on success of IDEAS-2012.
Talking to visiting dignitaries CJCSC thanked the visiting dignitaries and said that IDEAS provides a common ground to all defence production related institutions to interact with each other and learn from each other’s technological prowess which would enable them to develop technologies for the ever changing security needs. General Khalid Shameem Wynne reiterated Pakistan’s stance on regional peace and expressed that “We are a peace loving nation and our progress in defence production is aimed at maintaining peace, thus the apt theme Weapons for peace is evident in all facets of this exhibition”.
