Karachi violence claims 11 more lives

At least eleven more people were killed in different areas of the city on Thursday. Police arrested two target killers from Sohrab Goth area.
According to police sources, a young man identified as Aqib was gunned down in Orangi Town 15-B.
Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a car near North Nazimabad’s KDA Chowrangi, leaving three persons severely injured. They were taken to Abbasi Shahaeed Hospital for treatment but one of them succumbed to injuries. He was identified as Sajjad.
A tortured dead body was found near Crown Cinema, Mauripur.
Two people were gunned down in a hotel in Sammon Goth area of Malir Memon Goth. They were later identified as Asif and Talib.
25-year-old Abul Hassan was killed and two others sustained bullet injuries when unidentified gunmen opened fire on them in a roadside tea shop in Surjani Town.
In Orangi Town area, Jahangir and Raza were shot dead outside a hotel.
A policeman was killed on Thursday when a police mobile was fired upon in Sohrab Goth area, media reports said.
Officials said unknown bike riders intercepted a police vehicle and fired shots on it, killing a police constable. The attackers managed to flee from the scene.
Meanwhile police arrested two target killers from Sohrab Goth area of the city.
According to police, the target killers were arrested from Indus Plaza of the area.
The target killer was identified as Aslam alias Cheena and was involved in the killings of seven people including that of a policeman.
Police also recovered weapons from them.
On the other hand, Manghopir police arrested two dacoits in and recovered weapons, motorcycle and drugs in encounter.
