‘Indo-Pak cricket to help improve ties’

Pakistan former cricket captain Imran Khan has said that people of both Pakistan and India would come closer with the resumption of cricket relations between them. Speaking to media in Indian city of Gurgaon, Khan said that cricket series between Pakistan and India to be played by the end of this year would bring people close to each other. Imran Khan, who led Pakistan to its only World Cup victory in 1992, said that people of both Pakistan and India wanted better relations between both the countries and the upcoming series would help increase people to people contacts.
