All Pakistan Muslim league (APML) accused the government of sabotaging the workings of the Supreme Court and said that the country was not being governed by a government but was being ruled by mafias.
Spokesperson APML Aasia Ishaque, said that like many verdicts of the apex court, the decision to sell CNG at reduced prices to consumers was being ignored by the government in cohorts with CNG supplier unions. She said that “the government and CNG associations are jointly responsible for creating difficulties citizens and CNG had become a ‘missing item’ at CNG pumps across the country”. She said that winter had set in more than half of the country and that the government would drone citizens of the country with gas load shedding. She expressed disgust over the fact that owners of public transport had not reduced transport fares despite directives of government and despite the fact that they were protesting for a raise in fares in the name of justice when the prices were shooting upwards.
