Punjab Assembly Speaker Rana Muhammad Iqbal on Tuesday said he does not consider disqualification reference against the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for discussion in the House.
Informally talking to the media at his chamber, he said he has yet to go through the application given to him by the opposition leader, Raja Riaz, seeking the disqualification of the chief minister.
He added that the court had given no verdict against Shahbaz, nor was his name included in Asghar Khan case and hence, there is no need to send a reference to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
