‘My province is not a pack of cards to be shuffled’

Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) organized a huge Public gathering against the passage of SPLGO bill 2012 at village Pathan of Taluka District Larkana on Monday.
Addressing the gathering former Taluka Nazim Dokr and PML-F leader Shafqat Hussain Unar said that Sindh is not a cake that would be divided into pieces because the sons of the soil would safeguard their mother land in cohorts with his party. He said that the gang of outlaws sanctifying themselves in the colors of Pakistan people’s Party (PPP) had compromised on the rights of Sindhis by enacting SPLGO bill 2012. He added that PML-F was the only political party that possessed the capacity to thwart the conspiracy against Sindh. He said that the masses should march out of their slumber and protest against ruling elite which preferred bribes over meritocracy and preferred cronies over the poor and educated youth of the country. He said that law and order in the province had collapsed and murderers were roaming the streets in official cars. He told that he would contest the upcoming elections from PS 35 and was confident that his party would form the next government in Sindh and added that the chief of Hurs and Chief of PML F Pir Sain Pagaro was not a bystander in the political milieu of sindh and would come to the rescue of the masses.
PML F Leader Sarfraz Ahmed Bughio, Syed Naeem Akhtar Shah, Sarwar Brohi, Imdad Abro and others also addressed the gathering.
‘PPP a symbol of the masses’: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former provincial Minister Altaf Hussain said that he joined the ranks of PPP as it was the only party with roots in the masses and the only party which catered for the poor in its manifesto.
He said this while distributing eid gifts amongst the residents of Ali Abad Bakrani Tehsil on behalf of PPP. He said that “I would serve the people of my area after being elected in the provincial assembly and I challenge the opponents to contest and resign from politics after losing.” He said that neither people of Sindh not PPP could ever imagine the division of sindh. He said that when reality and sanity would dawn on PML-F, it would join PPP as everything was possible in politics.
