The Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought reply from the Punjab government for not arresting Dost Muhammad Khosa in Sapna kidnapping and murder case.
During hearing of the case here on Tuesday, Advocate Ameen Khan, the counsel of petitioner in Sapna case, told the court that a case has been registered against former CM Punjab Dost Muhammad Khosa in Sapna Khan case.
However, he said, despite passage of six months, the accused has not acquired interim bail, neither he was included in investigations, nor the police arrested him.
The petitioner’s counsel said that as Dost Muhammad Khosa has political influence therefore police avoid his arrest.
The court taking notice of the lawyer’s arguments directed the Punjab government to submit reply on next hearing.
