PPP moves requisition in PA for CM’s disqualification

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Monday moved an application to Punjab Assembly speaker for Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s disqualification.
The party’s parliamentary committee also approved a resolution against Shahbaz Sharif. The session of parliamentary committee was held in Punjab Assembly chaired by Raja Riaz. The session criticized Shahbaz Sharif and approved a resolution against him.
It was said in the resolution that Shahbaz Sharif has become a disputed personality after issuance of verdict regarding the Asghar Khan case and hence must resign from politics. After the session, the committee also moved an application to the assembly speaker for the incompetence of Shahbaz Sharif and demanded to probe into corruption committed in welfare projects.
On the other hand, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Raja Riaz is addicted of passing comments without evidence. The law minister also criticized the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and the MQM as well.
