KARACHI: With millions of dollars still to be paid to the national exchequer, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday prevented four ships of Turkey’s Karkey Rental Power Plant to cross Pakistan’s marine boundaries. “The ships have been prevented from moving due to non-payment of the amount paid in advance to it by the government, besides other expenses,” officials said. The Karkey plant operators have to pay over Rs 200 million on different accounts. The Maritime Security Force has been directed to stop the ships from leaving Pakistani waters until the balance is cleared, they added.
