Hajj flights of both the national and private airlines are reaching late by several hours causing severe inconvenience for both the pilgrims and their hundreds of relatives who keep waiting inordinately at the Bacha Khan International Airport here.
Airport officials told that a private airline flight scheduled to arrive on Saturday at 5:15am was delayed by as many as 27 hours, as it landed Sunday morning at 8:30am, while another flight of the private airline, which was scheduled to arrive at 9:00pm on Saturday night, was not arrived till Sunday afternoon.
Almost same is the case with the national airline, PIA flight, which delayed by three hours, reached here Sunday morning at 5:30am.
