On Wednesday, 18-year-old Sidra fell from a motorcycle when her ‘dopata’ got stuck in the motorcycle’s chain following which a speeding truck from behind crushed her to death.
According to police, Sidra was a resident of Sadar Cantonment and was going somewhere with her cousin who was riding the motorcycle, when the incident took place near Sheranwala Gate. Miraculously, her cousin Abid was unhurt. The police have taken the truck and its driver, Rafaqat, under custody.
Exactly. Why is truck driver in custody? If you want something good out it then educate masses of controlling their dupattas etc that even hang out from car doors too.
Why the truck driver? It's not his fault if the girl suddenly falls in front of his truck.
The motorcyclists are all on death wish.Most of them are alive because the motorists save them.There is no law for these mad people.The corrupt traffic police never stops a violation by this mob.Over loading passengers are a norm than exception.This can be corrected if there is will and severe punishment.
