The websites of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Prime Minister’s Office and five other Indian government departments were hacked on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Algeria-based hackers are responsible for the security breach. The hackers left their signature reading on the site: ‘SanFour25, Algerian Hackers’.
The DRDO website was down for more than nine hours.
