Security forces killed at least eight militants, destroying four hideouts in fresh clashes on Thursday. According to details, the security forces were conducting search operations in different areas of Khyber Agency when the clashes broke out. During a search operation in Tirah valley, eight extremists were reported killed as security forces shelled suspected hideouts and destroyed them. Local sources claimed the death toll may rise further because many militants were thought to be buried under the debris of the destroyed hideouts. Security forces have not reported any losses on their side in the clashes.
