The hearing of President Asif Ali Zardari’s dual posts resumed at the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday.
A larger bench of the Lahore High Court headed by its Chief Justice Umer Atta Bandiyal took up the case, a private television channel reported.
Counsel to the president in the case, Wasim Sajjad, submitted a request in the court asking for the adjournment of the hearing, after which the court adjourned the hearing until Nov 7.
Earlier on Oct 10, Wasim Sajjad had requested the court for more time, adding that, he was not employing delaying tactics. During the hearing the federal government had informed the court that the Zardari led Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was not involved in political activities.
