The Punjab government on Tuesday announced to reduce the cost of CNG transport by 25-30 percent following the decrease in CNG prices. The decision regarding the new fares was announced after Provincial Minister for Transport Zaeem Qadri held a meeting with the representatives of transport association at Transport House. While talking to the media after the meeting, Qadri said that the fares of intra-city CNG transport has been reduced by 30 percent while the cost of inter-city transport has been reduced by 25 percent.
