PCNS prepares recommendations on missing persons

Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) Mian Raza Rabbani on Wednesday claimed that recommendations have been prepared on missing persons’ issue, which would be presented in next meeting of the body.
Raza Rabbani chaired an informal meeting of the PCNS in Islamabad which was also attended by Lord Alexander Charles, a British law expert and member House of Lords.
The UK legislator briefed the committee members on anti-terror laws in Britain.
Rabbani told the body that recommendations on anti-terror laws in Pakistan and missing persons’ issue have be prepared and would be presented in next meeting.
He underscored the need of such a law which the state could enforce without snatching rights of the people.
The meeting was also attended by Mir Hasil Bazinjo, Mehtab Abbasi, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Mushahid Hussain Syed, Munir Orakzai, Anusha Rehman and others.
