All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) has stressed for the formation of a “caretaker setup” with the consensus of all political parties saying that the general election will be held in March on the basis of transparent voter lists.
APML central information secretary Aasia Ishaque said this while delivering a lecture during the party’s study circle held here at the central office on Wednesday.
She said that millions of workers of APML should start election preparations in their areas as APML would participate in the next general election and would win the seats.
She welcomed the remarks of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) over the issue of vote-cast-rights of overseas Pakistanis in the next general election adding that APML was also saying this since the issue was raised.
Aasia said that all mistakes that occurred in voter lists would be corrected by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) before the next election as all voters could use their right of voting as per their wishes.
The APML leader said that everybody knew that APML’s popularity graph was increasing day by day among the masses and people would vote them into power. On the occasion, she announced that APML’s chief Pervez Musharraf would come back to the country before the general election and the membership of party would also be started very soon.
“APML’s workers from every nook and corner of the country are striving hard for the party and the nation and they would listen ‘good news’ very soon in this regard” Aasia concluded.
