General Khalid Shameem Wynne, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee left for Australia Tuesday on a five days official visit.
Chairman will head National delegation comprising of representatives from three services, MoFA and MoI in Pakistan-Australia Defence and Security Talks.
During the visit General Khalid Shameem Wynne will also call on Stephen Smith, Defence Minister of Australia, General David Hurley, Chief of Defence Forces and a number of other military dignitaries.
Earlier, General Khalid Shameem Wynne was seen off by Lieutenant General Muhammad Asif, Director General Joint Staff and other senior officers from Joint Staff Headquarters.
ADF is as professional as their sportsmen, should prove to be a positive venture.
A very sensible move. It is in Pakistan's interest to foster new ties. The more the merrier.
If Pak army needs training, they should seek the help of taliban. Apparently they do a much better job defeating the army than the army does fighting them. It'll be a lot cheaper and much more effective. The only thing army officers will have to give up is their lavish foreign trips. I guess thats not gonna happen though. Atleast not under the present coward military leadership.

Australia openly said that it will not sell Uranium to Pakistan but will sell to India. Yest our ruling elite will do anything for $$$. Shame on the Generals.
